Corals can produce fascinating structures!![]() Montego Bay is home to a variety of coral and limestone underwater formations, including boulder monolithic colonies and structures.

Branching corals historically made up much of the shallow reef, and their remains provide good quality habitat. Several large living colonies still occur in the park.![]() Spur and groove areas are all over the park space at between 5 and 12 metres, and particularly in front of Doctor's Cave Beach. Broken, split shelf "Hoodoo" areas of Unity Hall. These areas are quite spectacular for their unique formations, as well as for the creatures that live here. You will find a number of sclerosponges on the walls, and many fish hiding in the crevices. |
