Is the Trust a government agency?
No. The Montego Bay Marine Park is managed by the Montego Bay Marine Park Trust, which is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO). Although we ourselves do not work for the Government of Jamaica, we work closely with government agencies in order to protect, preserve and restore the marine ecosystem. To learn more, check our management page.

Are there any rides or attractions in the park?
Yes and No. The Montego Bay Marine Park itself does not own or operate any rides or attractions, as we are the regulatory agency. However, there are private businesses that operate glass bottom snorkeling tours, catamaran rides, beachfront vistas, and a number of other watersport related activities. Check our Links and Donors pages for more information.
